I have a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and I am currently an associate level counselor. Over the past year I have worked with adult clients struggling with a variety of issues such as anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and depression.
The decision to pursue this career started in my mid-30s due to the need for a career change as well as many life transitions I experienced at that time, and it's safe to say I have not looked back since.
I truly enjoy working with my clients in this space and have also sought counseling myself, which has given me a personal perspective on the importance of mental health and the many ways in which it can enrich and balance one's life.
I recently moved to the PNW from the Midwest with my husband and our dog Zoey, and we are truly enjoying the beautiful state and all it has to offer. We enjoy taking advantage of the fantastic summer weather and I am also an avid reader especially during the rainy season.

I would describe my approach as a counselor as client-centered and personable. I value the use of humor in the counseling space as much as a I value creating space for the difficult moments that often arise within counseling sessions and life in general. I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking counseling services. My goal is to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. I strongly believe in the power of therapy to promote personal growth and positive change, and I am committed to providing the support you might need on your unique path to emotional wellness.
